Glass Traffic Oil Film Remover & Hybrid Deep Cleaning Formula

Gof X is an easy-to-use glass restoration product designed to immediately restore optics and clarity on any exterior glass surfaces. Its hybrid formula utilizes a combination of chemicals and abrasives to quickly and effectively remove the toughest contaminants that glass cleaners can’t touch, eliminating oily traffic film, dried insect remains, water spots/mineral deposits, and even old sealants or coatings.

GofX restores smoothness and transparency to your windshield and windows, improving visibility and preparing the surface for maximum bonding with coatings or sealants. After use, simply wipe the surface once more with a clean wet microfiber towel and then dry, and you are able to coat the surface with your preferred sealant or coating if applicable.

Gof X remains easy to use by machine or by hand, on wet or dry glass, ensuring a versatile application that molds to fit your preferred method and results in spotless, streak-free, and crystal-clear glass.

Directions By Hand:

  1. Wash and dry the surface or clean with a waterless wash.
  2. Apply multiple pea-sized drops or a single thin strip across the length of the dense foam hand applicator. 
  3. Place against the glass and spread across the area.
  4. Utilize overlapping circular scrubbing motion horizontally, ensuring even pressure.
  5. Using only the product already spread across the section, repeat step 4 as needed or until the product is spent and dry.
  6. Wipe off residue immediately with a clean microfiber towel.
  7. Move to the next section.
  8. When the window is complete, you may wipe down with water or any surface preparation spray before applying any glass coating of your choice.

Directions By Machine:

  1. Wash and dry the surface, or clean with a waterless wash
  2. Apply a few pea-sized drops to a medium-stiff foam pad.
  3. Place against the glass and spread across the area on low speed.
  4. Increase to no more than medium speed and move across the area and back the other way, overlapping by 50% your previous pass.
  5. Continue moving consistently until results are achieved or the product is dry.  
  6. Do not continue once dry.
  7. Wipe off any residue with water or surface preparation spray and a clean glass microfiber towel.
  8. Move to the next section.
  9. When the window is complete, you may wipe down with water or any surface preparation spray before applying any glass coating of your choice.

Q: What is the difference between GofX and Ceriglass?

A: GofX easily removes everything from the surface, leaving only the glass intact. Ceriglass "cuts" or polishes into the glass itself to remove swirls and light scratches and actually compounds below the surface of the glass. 

Q: When do I use GofX?

A: GofX can be used on any vehicle that has stubborn residue, mineral spots, or an old coating. Ceriglass is only used when you have "swirled" (scratched) or etched spots in the glass, which requires cerium oxide to compound the glass.

Q: Do I need to use Eraser after GofX before applying a glass coating like DQUARTZ GForce?

A: You can use either water or CARPRO Eraser to wipe down the glass after wiping off the GofX.
